Overcoming Panic Attacks

If you suffer from panic and anxiety attacks, does it feel to you as though you are being squeezed in a vice — and all it will take to start the vice tightening with you in it is a flick of a mental switch?

Sometimes it might seem that just surviving the day without feeling that vice squeezing you is all you can hope for. But as you go to bed at night, is it with the full knowledge that the squeeze might start at any time, in any place?

And that next time it might be fatal?

If you suffer panic attacks, you are not alone. Most people that have attacks of anxiety feel just the way you do – that any moment, without any warning, an attack will hit.

The reality is different. Believing that your next episode is waiting around the next corner or behind the next door is not the reality – it is only your perception.

Anxiety attacks are something that we choose to have when we feel a loss of control. They may begin simply enough.

Maybe a heart flutter.

That sensation sends an impulse to your brain, which in turn runs up the danger flag.

Your brain signals back the clear message: “Your heart flutter means something is DANGEROUSLY WRONG!

Suddenly panic takes over and adrenaline is coursing through your veins.

Your body is in a fight of flight mode. Blood is rushed to all areas of your body as an emergency measure.

Your muscles tighten, your pupils dilate, your heart rate increases.

All of this creates in you the sense of panic!

You feel overwhelmed!

You are sinking into a quagmire and you are going down fast!

It’s hard to breathe! You can’t concentrate! You need to escape! You need help!

After minutes, or an hour, the symptoms finally begin to subside, but you remain on the alert and are extremely nervous. You are sure the symptoms are going to return — and at any moment.

What can you do to halt these episodes? The answer starts with thinking and reasoning.

Think: Did your heart flutter really signal a heart attack?

Reasoning tells you “No.”

The next logical step is to train mind to recognize that the information your brain is sending you at the outset of an episode is false. They fears are really made up in your mind.

Learning to do this will take you to the next step: You will reach the point where you are sick and tired of your condition. It is the use of this mindset that will produce your real, giant breakthrough.

Panic takes us as prisoners because we give it permission to do so. Why do we give panic permission to take over?

Because panic (falsely) threatens us with terror and death if we are not obedient to it.

The trick to beating panic is turning this thinking around and becoming the pursuer instead of the pursued.

When you learn to pursue your anxiety it is the polar opposite of giving in to its fear. It is the complete opposite of anxiety pursing you — in the form of a panic attack.

If the anticipation of an attack keeps you crippled in fear, you must somehow end the anticipation. To accomplish this you must reach a point where you are willing to throw caution to the wind.

Once you do this, you can successfully pursue the anxiety.

You will be ready to face life and say: “Here I am. Give me all you got because I am bigger than you and I have had it with you destroying my life! So, come on! Give me your best shot because I’m not afraid!”

That is when your panic attacks will end.

You will no longer be living in anticipation of the next attack, which will prevent it from coming.

It will take total effort, but can you do this? YES. You can do it just like thousands of others have.

Will you end up having the biggest panic attack ever?

No. Because there is no such thing as the “the big one.” There is no “granddaddy of all attacks” waiting behind some dark door waiting to spring out at you when you least expect it.

Trust in the process and you will be able to handle any and all anxious sensations every time.

Following this special program will give you is confidence that you can, in fact, easily handle any anxious sensation.

Confidence is so crucial to tackling this problem.

Think of anxiety as a London fog. Fog breeds fear because you cannot see what is ahead. And yet if you don’t move forward, you will forever be caught in the fog. If we allow our fear to prevent us from moving forward, we, too, will always be living in the fog and will never see the light of day.

Panic Away

Here is an example of how the full Panic Away course has helped others:

I must tell you that out of all the items you can purchase regarding anxiety related products on the Internet, I learned more from reading your program than I did from all the psychologists and other practitioners I had seen in the 25 years that I’ve had this condition.

I had been on Xanax and Klonopin for about 10 years, but this December I decided to withdraw from it thinking I didn’t need the pills anymore according to some of the programs I ordered claiming “miracle cures”.

That’s when all my symptoms started again. I felt as if I had wasted the past 20 years trying to get better… I started searching the web for home based “cures”.

I ordered so many programs I started to get confused from too much conflicting advice. Also, I was promised support but I am still waiting replies from some of the more expensive programs!

I ran across your program on Sunday, February 5th. I debated ordering the program because I have spent approximately $8,000 in the last five years of my life trying everything from panic support classes, medication, counseling and the list goes on and on – all to rid myself of panic attacks.

Something inside me said: “Just keep trying.” So I did. After five years of living my life with the world on my shoulders, I am excited to say that I am now panic free.

After one time of applying your “one move” technique, I am a new person.

One of my many fears that I developed was driving. After reading your program at 12:30 at night, I wrote down some quick notes. I ran out of my house and drove toward the darkest, scariest road where nobody was near by. This would definitely bring on a full scale panic attack, which it did.

While letting myself feel the emotions run through me, I did exactly what you told me to do. I was scared as hell, but stood my ground.

I instantly calmed and even tried to bring the attack back on, but could not.

I literally laughed out loud and sat in my truck amazed….This whole week I have driven wherever I wanted, at any time of the day.

I am so glad I found your program. Thank you so much for all of your research, time and dedication so that people like us can now live a normal and happy life.

I really appreciate being treated nicely over the Internet for a change. Your book really helped me a lot in a sense that I don’t fear those panic attacks anymore.

The first time I started reading your book I was on an airplane and just before a panic attack as I was going to do a job in Switzerland and I didn’t know how is it going to go.

As I read a couple of pages tears started coming down my face and I felt sooooo much better. I didn’t even mind the other people on the plane staring at me and wandering what I am reading…
